The Jewelry Box Nightstand

I was inspired to build these custom nightstands when I saw a small jewelry box with a similar design. I added the hand gouged walnut texture to the design along with a thin strip of solid brass to elevate the piece. The walnut and white oak body wrap completely around the nightstand to look almost like a solid piece when the drawers are closed. The drawers inside are solid walnut with white oak drawer bottoms.
